How long does it take to process my order?
The proof will take 1-2 business days to prepare. Your order is usually shipped within 3-4 business days after your proof is confirmed (excludes weekends and holidays). If we assemble the cards please allow up to an additional 5 days before the order is shipped. This time frame does not include shipping. 

How do I send my digital or scanned photos?
1. Click here to open an email message.
2. Attach your image file.
3. Include in the message: Baby's First Name, Baby's Last Name  

If you have selected the email proof option, please allow 2 days for the proof to arrive to you.

What are the resolution requirements for scanned photos?
Acceptable scanned formats are .jpg, .tif, .bmp or .pcx files. We work with 300 dpi scanned files. These files are very large and can be difficult to send over the internet. You may be better off mailing your photo to us. We use professional scanners, so the quality we can produce is exceptional. The quality of the final product will depend on the quality of the scanned photo. If the quality of the image is difficult for us to work with, we will notify you to make other arrangements. We want your announcements to be as beautiful as possible!

What are the resolution requirements for digital photos?
If you are using a digital camera, please adjust your settings to the highest quality (resolution) possible. Usually, digital cameras create .jpg images, it may only be 75 dpi, but don't worry about the file size, if the image is sharp and clear on your screen, it should work for us. You want to send us the largest file your digital can create. If your camera is 2.1 mega pixels or higher we should get an excellent image.

What if I do not have a digital photo or scanned photo?
Please mail developed photos (we do not need negatives) to the following address:

Can I get a proof before you print my order?
Yes, we can e-mail, fax or mail one to you. Note, if we mail a proof to you it will take extra time to receive your order. Contact us with the go-ahead or changes that you would like to make.

Note: The purpose of a proof is to make corrections to the text and layout only, once the proof is approved we will not be responsible for errors that are not caught. Although we are usually very accurate with our typesetting, we do occasionally make errors, this is why we send the proof. Please check the text very carefully for typesetting errors.

Do I get my original photo back?
Yes, it will be sent back with your order.

What is the best type of photo to use?
We prefer bright, sharp focus photos. Light clothing with patterns or textures work best. They can be black & white, color (we will convert it to black & white), digital or you can even scan it and e-mail it to us. If you can’t decide between two or three photos, send us a few options and we will determine which will work the best for you.

Can I use a professional photo?
Yes, with a photographer's release form. Your photographer should have release forms available. 

By submitting your order, you represent that you have permission from the copyright holder or other owner to reproduce the image, and that our reproduction of the image will not violate the rights of any other person. Also, by submitting your order, you agree to indemnify us and defend and hold us harmless from all actions, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including, but not limited to, attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or relating to 
(a) our possession or reproduction of the image and (b) any breach of your representations in the previous sentence.

Can you fix imperfections?
We can do some things such as lightening and darkening. We can remove red eye and take some undesired objects out of the photo.

What do you do with my photo? Will you help with the layout for my card?
Yes, we will crop or resize the photo if needed. All of our styles can be horizontal and vertical. We will create the best layout and ribbon position for the picture. If you have a particular layout in mind, we will be happy to comply. If you would like us to crop or cut out an object, please make this notation on the order form. We also soften the edges of your picture.

What color ink do you use?
We use charcoal gray. You may specify black ink if you like.

Can I pre-order my envelopes?
Yes, we will send your envelopes early for an additional $10.00 shipping & handling fee. On the online order form please select the early envelope option (we ask that you submit your order in full at the time of early envelope request). We ship the envelopes and hold the order until the photo and information arrive.

Note:
Payment must be in full for the complete order.

Can I order additional announcements after I received my order?
Yes, we keep your order for one month. Just email or mail us another order form and with your payment information. We can not take reorders by phone. We suggest that you order an additional 10% at the placement of your order. For reorders, there is an additional $25.00 set-up fee.

Do you offer ribbon tying & assembly?
Yes, for an additional fee we will assemble your cards. If you choose to assemble yourself, we enclose one assembled announcement and instructions.

Note: Please allow up to 5 additional days if we assemble your announcements.

Can I get my return address on my envelopes?
Yes, for an additional .25 cents each we will print your return address in charcoal black on the black flap of your envelope.

Can I get a sample or catalog?
In order to keep costs down for your customers we do not offer brochures, catalogs or samples. All of our cards are displayed on the website with pricing and information.

Is there a minimum amount of birth announcements that I need to order?
Yes, the minimum amount for birth announcements is 35. There is no minimum amount for thank you cards.

Do you offer Baptism, Christening, or Shower Invitations?
Yes, you can use any birth announcement style for your invitation. Use the standard birth announcement order form, and modify saying and information any way you like.
